Aquarius: The Water Carrier Sign

Aquarius is one of the unique signs in the Zodiac. It is actually symbolized by a water carrier and is considered an air sign and at the same time one of four fixed signs. Similarly, it is also considered as a “masculine” and a positive sign for being more extroverted.

In terms of the ruling planets, there are actually two planets normally being linked. Traditionally, it is the planet Saturn, and if more modern, it is the planet Uranus.

In astrology records, Aquarius individuals are born when the Sun was in the Aquarius sign. Likely, whenever under the sidereal zodiac, the Sun is in Aquarius closely from February 13 to March 14. But whenever under tropical zodiac, it is currently there closely from as early as January 20 to February 18.

Being Symbolized by a Water Carrier

Aquarius being symbolized and represented by a water carrier is typically linked to the mythological figure of Odysseus, King of Ithaca and from the Greek myth of the Trojan War. At times, even with the Greco-Roman god Uranus or Caelus and the god Cronus or Saturn. Or in some rare cases, with Ganymede, cupbearer of the gods.

Possible Traits

Traits that individuals under the sign Aquarius could possibly possess include traits of being democratic, unconventional, sophisticated, objective, friendship oriented, humanitarian, cause-oriented, group-oriented, society, progressive, and detached. At times, they can become dogmatic, aloof, eccentric, and elitist.

Thus, because of the above mentioned traits, Aquarius people are ideal to be an astronomer, photographer, scientist, politician, actress, musician, and even psychologist.

Aquarius with Some Other Signs

Considering the birth dates, birth months, birth years, and even the position of a sign within the Sun, the Moon, Stars, etc., Aquarius is said to be compatible with Libra and Gemini. In some instances, even with Aries, Sagittarius, and Leo.

However, such compatibilities should just be a reference or guideline for people under Aquarius and not as something else as an individual profile or reading.
